Come join us at Temasek Shophouse where Felix Nai will be conducting a Sashiko Workshop.
In this workshop, participants will learn techniques of mending and take pleasure in this meaningful mending experience. This traditional Japanese method of embroidery or stitching is used both for decorative and/or functional purposes. Techniques using simple straight stitches to secure different fabrics and create new ones in the process. This method patches up flaws in your cherished goods, giving them a new lease of life.
This workshop is part of the community engagement program in support of the Sustainability Design Showcase Exhibition at Temasek Shophouse.
