Spark the Next: Singapore Youth Action Plan
Designed to inspire youths to influence policy change and start ground-up initiatives, The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and National Youth Council is developing the SG Youth Action Plan (SG YAP) for youths to have a say in what kind of Singapore they want to see in 2025, and crafting an action plan to realise this vision.
As part of SG YAP, the Youth Action Challenge (YAC) is a platform for youths to be involved in taking action by providing youths with mentorship and access to various industry experts and youth leaders.
This year, the YAC focuses on 3 key areas – the environment, societal issues, and future of work. The societal issues track delved deeper into the areas of supporting youths from vulnerable families, persons with disabilities, and mental health.
This session was held at Temasek Shophouse, bringing together youth participants, mentors, and a panel of industry leaders from public and private sectors who shared their pearls of wisdom and provided crucial feedback for participants to refine their projects and ideas.
