Temasek Shophouse is the home to Temasek’s philanthropic arm — Temasek Trust, Temasek Foundation and Stewardship Asia Centre.

Temasek Trust

Established in 2007, Temasek Trust is an independent steward of philanthropic endowments and gifts. Our purpose is to ensure sustainable funding for the long term well-being and security of our communities. Temasek Trust provides governance and financial oversight of endowments for Temasek Foundation and Stewardship Asia Centre. Our work supports a common purpose of doing good, uplifting lives and advancing communities in Singapore and beyond. Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth

The Charities Unit, also known as the office of the Commissioner of Charities, came under the purview of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth when it was formed on 1 November 2012.

With the aim to professionalise the charity sector, the Commissioner of Charities has worked with various organisations to set up shared services to strengthen charities’ regulatory compliance and effectiveness. Temasek Shophouse is proud to support this initiative which enables charities to be effective, efficient and accountable by providing a common shared space for charities’ use.

UNDP Global Centre for Technology, Innovation and Sustainable Development, Singapore

The Global Centre for Technology, Innovation and Sustainable Development is a joint initiative by the Government of Singapore and the United Nations Development Programme which aims at identifying and co-creating technological solutions for sustainable development. The Global Centre curates partnerships, identifies solutions and connects partners and innovations with UNDP’s global network for sustainable development.

Our key Government partners are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources (MEWR), the Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Public Service Division (PSD at the Prime Minister’s Office). We are establishing links with many other agencies, Government-linked companies, start-ups and corporates to leverage Singapore’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
